Pre-Owned Jeep Cherokee at Reedman DCJ of Jenkintown

If you're looking for a vehicle that is pleasant both on- and off-road, a Jeep Cherokee may be the perfect vehicle for you. It's incredibly smooth on paved roads and offers plenty of comfort features, making it a surprisingly enjoyable commuter or vehicle for daily use. At the same time, the Cherokee is shockingly capable off-road as well, making it a blast on the weekends when you visit rugged trails. In fact, the Cherokee is one of the best in its segment when it comes to both off-road capability and on-road delivery. With a plush cabin, smooth powertrains, and the ability to go anywhere, there's nothing to lose when it comes to a used Jeep Cherokee.

Under the Cherokee's Hood

There are two engine options when it comes to the Jeep Cherokee. The first is a 2.4-liter Tigershark four-cylinder engine. This engine produces 184 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque. Also available is a 3.2-liter V6 engine that generates 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque. Regardless of engine, the Cherokee is paired with an automatic nine-speed transmission. Front-wheel and four-wheel drive are both available for the Cherokee; however, the Cherokee Trailhawk trim is available exclusively with the Active Drive II four-wheel-drive system. Active Drive II is the more intense counterpart of Active Drive I, which is found on AWD Latitude and Limited models. Active Drive I and Active Drive II both come with the delightful Selec-Terrain dial that makes navigating any terrain simple. With an available towing package and the V6 engine option, the Jeep Cherokee can tow a hefty 4,500 pounds.
