Details of the 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee
Dodge continues to roll out the brand's "Last Call" lineup, releasing the second of seven special-edition "Last Call" models, the 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee. The Charger Super Bee honors a vehicle that has brought "buzz" to the Dodge brand for decades, the Dodge Super Bee. The name "Super Bee" originates in the "B" Body designation pertinent to Chrysler's mid-sized cars, including the Road Runner and Charger. The 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee aims to carry on that legacy by offering the highest-performance Charger Super Bee ever produced.
The Original Dodge Super Bee
The Dodge Super Bee was first introduced in 1968 and as a Charger model in 1971. The original Dodge Super Bee was based on the Dodge Coronet two-door coupe. It was Dodge's low-priced muscle car and was rebranded and mildly distinguished from the Plymouth Road Runner. The Super Bee reached legendary status in its brief original four-year run by giving customers an ultra-high-performance vehicle that could serve as a daily driver and a weekend warrior at the track or drag strip.
All-New Dodge Super Bee
The Dodge Super Bee is more than commemorating a cool heritage name; it is also a Charger variant of the Challenger 1320 grassroots race package. The 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee aims to carry on that legacy by offering the highest-performance Charger Super Bee model, with standard drag radials that help the Super Bee fly the quarter mile and special Super Bee badging and graphics that dress up the hive. There will be a limited number of 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bees to populate the hive. This special-edition vehicle will see a production run of only 1,000, with 500 Charger Scat Pack and 500 Charger Scat Pack Widebody
Performance Features of the 2023 Dodge Charger Super Bee
The Charger Super Bee builds upon the Charges Plus Group content. The 2023 Charger Super Bee special edition showcases a swarm of unique features, like the Super Bee exterior badging on the grille and front fenders, along with exclusive Super Bee graphics on the functional hood scoop and rear fenders. If you opt for the Scat Pack model, you will be rolling on 20-by-9.5-inch knurled wheels with 275 drag radials. If you choose the Widebody, you gain 18-by-11-inch drag wheels with 315 drag radials. The Super Bee also comes with Dodge's Adaptive damping suspension with Drag Mode and a Red four-piston Brembo brake system.
Interior Styling of the Charger Super Bee
Inside the 2023 Charger Super Bee, you will find the same features that come with Dodge's Carbon and Suede Package, with a few extras. The Carbon and Suede Package offers a suede headliner and genuine carbon fiber interior accents. Drivers will also gain an exclusive Super Bee instrument panel badge and embossed Super Bee logos on the seat backs.
