The 2019 Motor Trend SUV of the Year Award is earned, with
all contenders fighting hard against the other to claim victory. The Wrangler
stands head and shoulders above the throng however and uses its far-ranging
systems to snag an almost easy victory. Recognizable items in the Wrangler
continue into 2019, such as the fold-down windshield, circular headlights, Dana
44 axles, removable doors, and the seven-slot keystone front grille. That
doesn't mean it isn't staying up with the times, however, as the 2019 Wrangler
can become a mobile headquarters with a 4G Wi-Fi Hotspot (50-feet of Wi-Fi
coverage for 8 devices), has optional Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility,
plus, futuristic safety features like Rear Cross Path Detection and Adaptive
Cruise Control. Why not come explore this legendary rock-tumbler with us for a
minute by reading below? Find out why it won Motor Trend's SUV of the Year
(besides those square taillights & the new Bikini exterior color)!

Would You Give A Synopsis Of The Offerings Within The
Wrangler?
There are four models of the Wrangler: the Sport, Sport S,
Sahara, and the Rubicon. The Wrangler can, by design and wild popular demand,
easily remove all its doors with the exposed hinge design, and a 4th-gen
Uconnect system is either 7- or 8.4-inches (standard 5-inches for Sport). It
incorporates Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, pinch-and-zoom, and more! Sahara
models bring in a Selec-Trac 2-speed transfer case with full-time 4WD and a
2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, and next-generation Dana front and rear axles. The
Sahara and the Sport can also mutually have an obtainable Trac-Lok limited-slip
rear differential that proposes supplementary torque and grip in low-traction
settings such as sand, snow, or mud. The Rubicon and the Sahara both allow a
revolutionary feature, the Sky One-Touch Powertop that retracts or covers the
top of the Wrangler with a button touch. That works either way up despite the
Wrangler traveling up to 60-mph! Those models interestingly match with revised
suspension tuning, electro-hydraulic steering, and a longer wheelbase than ever
(which translates to more rear passenger room and other trail-conquering
benefits). The 33" BF Goodrich KM All-Terrain tires (optional) on the 2019
Wrangler Rubicon model characteristically says it all, but the Rubicon also
brings to bear items like next-gen Dana front and rear Heavy-Duty axles,
electric front & rear locking differentials, a disconnecting front sway
bar, off-road rock rails, and an incomparable 4.0:1 low-range gear ratio within
the Rock-Trac NV241 two-speed transfer case. The Rock-Trac also empowers an
84:1 crawl ratio in conjunction with the 6-speed manual transmission! That
should whet your appetite for a moment, let's move on to safety and other items
of interest!
Could You Go Over Its Power-trains For A Moment?
The core of all the power and torque can be a 3.6L V-6
engine with ESS that gets 285-horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. That engine
sees a standard 6-speed manual transmission matched up to it but there is also
an 8-speed automatic possible to install. Further, look for the all-new
mild-hybrid 2.0L turbo-4 engine with 270-horsepower and 295 lb-ft torque (utilizing
eTorque) that works well with the 8-speed automatic transmission. Both engines
(with either transmission) can tow up to 3,500-pounds, more than enough for a
weekend outing in the woods!
Are There Many Safety Elements Installed Into The 2019
Wrangler?
Motor Trend considers safety high priority in its thorough
testing of vehicles for this award, and the Wrangler shines in 2019. Standard
on the Wrangler is a set of airbags, electronic roll mitigation, and electronic
stability control (ESC). Actually, there are over 75 options for safety &
security features, containing items such as Hill-start Assist, trailer-sway
control, and brake traction control. The Advanced Safety Group package offers
adaptive cruise control and forward collision warning too, so consider yourself
taken care of in those departments!
Thinking About Acquiring A 2019 Jeep Wrangler?
With its three capable 4x4 systems, a body-on-frame design,
a front/rear 5-link suspension system, trustworthy Dana front/rear HD axles,
and a choice of engines, the 2019 Wrangler is very serious while going all-out
for its yearly award rounds! It doesn't hurt either that the Wrangler has that
indescribable open-air feel, a mountain of safety accompaniments, and the
trail-stomping Rubicon model under its belt. Take a peek at our current Jeep Wrangler inventory when you get a moment. Then give us a call over at
