All models in 2018 will come standard with a new Parkview rear back-up camera and ParkSense rear park assist. The Charger SXT model will now come standard with a 7-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 4 and new paint options have been made available as well. The SRT model receives the most updates with a new matte vapor wheel finish, new grille and fender badges, lighter "5Deep" lightweight aluminum wheels, optional brass monkey wheels, a new red IP badge, and optional Brembo brake calipers.

Which trim has which engine?

The Challenger comes with many engine options. The SXT and GT models have the option of rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 305 horsepower. The R/T and T/A models come with a six-speed manual transmission and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 372 horsepower. The R/T Scat Pack, the 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker, the T/A 392, and the SRT 392 come with a 6.4-liter V8 and 485 horsepower. The SRT Hellcat comes with a 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 with 707 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque. This engine is only beaten by the SRT Demon's 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 with its 840 horsepower and its 770 lb-ft of torque. All V8 engines come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission with the option to switch to a six-speed manual, except for the Demon.

How many safety features are in the 2018 Challenger?

The Challenger has over 80 security and safety features available. Some of these features would adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and full-speed forward collision warning with a full stop. Engine immobilizer and traction control also come standard with all models. A basic warranty lasts for 3 years or 36,000 miles. A corrosion/rust thru warranty lasts 5 years and a roadside assistance program is available for 5 years of 100,000 miles.

What do the different trim levels offer for features?

The SXT is the base trim on the 2018 Challenger. This trim comes with automatic headlights, 18-inch wheels, keyless ignition and entry, heated mirrors, a 7-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and a six-speaker sound system. The GT comes only in all-wheel drive and adds to the SXT with upgraded brakes, 19-inch wheels, foglights, heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, rear parking sensors, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and a heated steering wheel. The R/T comes with cloth sport seats, rear parking sensors, a sport-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and the newest Uconnect. The SRT 392 offers additional power-folding mirrors, xenon headlights, leather upholstery, a heated sport steering wheel, ventilated and heated front seats, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon, navigation, and adaptive suspension dampers. Variants of all the previously listed trims are also available. The SRT Hellcat comes with a top-notch engine that is only beaten by the Demon's engine, as well as, a sportier suspension, quad exhaust tips, automatic wipers, and automatic high beams. The SRT Demon comes with multiple features to help give it the greatest speed and the coolest look.
