Ram 1500 Classic Warlock Announced

The announcement of the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic was extremely exciting, especially for those who enjoyed the older Ram body style. That is why we are happy to announce that Ram has continued adding on to the 1500 Classic with the 1500 Classic Warlock! This pickup truck helps to pay homage to the original Warlocks that were created in the 1970s. These trucks offer buyers a unique style and a well-equipped vehicle that will remind them of trucks of the past. The Warlock is further evidence that Ram listens to the consumer and understands just what their customers are looking for. Not only do they want a reliable truck that has a high towing capacity, but they also want something with a unique design that doesn't forget about the heritage behind it. Keep reading to learn more about what the Warlock has to offer!

What comes with the Warlock?

There are many unique features that help the 2019 Warlock pay homage to the past while fitting in with the present. This pickup truck features Warlock decals on the bedsides, an optional Sport hood, heavy-duty rear shocks, unique hood decals, tow hooks, black badging, LED rear tail lamps, projector headlamps with dark bezels, LED fog lamps, black wheel flares, a 1-inch factory lift, front and rear powder coated bumpers, 20-inch semi-gloss black aluminum wheels, and a black grille with RAM lettering. You'll also find power foldaway mirrors, LED bed lighting, a 7-inch cluster display, an overhead console, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, which all come with the Luxury Group package. For added features, you can include a spray-in bedliner, black side steps, an 8.4-inch touchscreen, and heated bench or bucket seats.

What engines power the Warlock?

There are two available engines that you can get with the Warlock. The first engine is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, which can pump out 269 pound-feet of torque and 305 horsepower. The second engine is a 5.7-liter HEMI V8, which produces 410 pound-feet of torque and 395 horsepower. Both of these engines work with a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. You can also get it in 4x2 or 4x4 configurations, along with Quad or Crew cabs. This power means you won't be losing anything by harking back to the past. Instead, you get a very modern pickup truck with some classic features.

What is the history of the Warlock?

The history of this truck starts in 1976, with the very first production of the Dodge Warlock. It was introduced after a positive response by the public of a concept vehicle. This truck was factory-personalized, and the moniker was "play as hard as it works". These trucks included special gold accent stripes on the interior and exterior, real oak sideboards, chrome-plated running boards, bucket seats, and fat tires and fancy wheels. The production ran through 1979.

In order to honor Ram's truck history, we hope you'll check out our new Ram inventory! All of these trucks are produced with power and capability in mind. The Ram for you is out there, and we invite you to stop by our dealership today if any of them catch your eye.
